Very grateful to find this absolute gem on our last day in Japan!
The coffee is phenomenal. Slightly darker roast which I prefer and have been craving (compared to the equally delicious but slightly sweeter/fruity espresso served at most coffee spots we’ve been to in Japan).
Perfectly extracted espresso and velvety smooth milk. Faultless, in my mind. Would 100% recommend.

The cafe has a very good Showa period atmosphere. There is a cigar tray in front of the cafe; it would be one of the pros for smokers, but if you do not, you may want to be careful, especially in the case you have issues such as respiratory manifestations.
Ōjō is popular among people who love to take food porn and thus could be queued. Make sure both the close and last order times are correct, and you have plenty of time to wait, specifically over an hour. The visitors inside the cafe chill and sometimes go outside to smoke without considering how many people are waiting outside.
I could not order any food, only drinks, because of the queue, and the drinks were also mediocre. At least it was not worth the time I spent, and I am sure I could have found another one with dishes and drinks by walking around with the time I used there.
